The Williston Park Fire Department held its Annual Fourth of July Parade through the sometimes wet streets of Williston Park on the morning of the Fourth of July and, due to the inclement weather, the attendance both in the parade and of those watching was rather sparse.

Williston Park Village Mayor Ludwig Odierna was riding in the lead Williston Park Fire Truck.

One of the few local areas to hold a parade on the Fourth of July, this parade is attended by both the members of the Williston Park Fire Department, the East Williston Fire Department and the Albertson Fire Department. They were joined by the members of the Williston Park American Legion, members of the EMT, the legion auxiliary, the Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus and Daisy Troop No. 174. At the beginning of the parade, which headed west on Hillside Avenue, there was a slight drizzle, but the really strong rains held off until the parade was finished back at the Williston Park Fire House on Willis Avenue in Williston Park.
