Once again, under the direction of Priscilla Sachacz, Carol Fazzolare and Claire Boylan, the Happicaps, part of St. Aidan's Church Outreach, took center stage and wowed the packed audience.

The Happicaps closed their very entertaining program with the Nativity scene as they all sang Silent Night.

The group, who always does some very timely numbers, opened up with We Are the Champions, and they truly are. Tommy Brady brought the house down with his accurate impersonation of Sir Elton John.
Another wonderful number by the group was How Would You Like to Spend Christmas on Christmas Island, complete with very colorful Hawaiian dress.
Many in the group did dance numbers including Meredith Shear who is always so graceful and wonderful as is Marie Caruso. Also included was some rollicking rock and roll numbers, very good.
The Happicaps include Karen Babyak, Tommy Brady, Amy Campanali, Marie Caruso, Ann Marie Creta, Eddie Judge, Lawrence McAllister, Erica Mueller, Brian Russo, Meredith Shear, Daniel Sullivan, Peggy Sullivan and John Schroter.
Many in the audience also participated in the festivities. The talented Frank Sanchez was on piano with Lisa Laoratore operating the sound system. Bob Valli sang some of his Christmas favorites, accompanied by his trusty guitar, including Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Frosty The Snowman, followed by Rudolph. Rose Marie Ferrar sang Winter Wonderland and Annette Triano inspired all with her You Raised Me Up, John Hayes took the mike and sang a lovely version of I'll Be Home for Christmas and Warren Schein sang the Mel Torme classic The Christmas Song.
Father Bruno delighted everyone with his marvelous little French Christmas carol, in French and Father Robert Hayden sang I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas,
As usual Shirley Clarke involved the entire audience led by a group she called "The Miracles."
It was a fun night for all with the focus totally on the amazing Happicaps. They, as they always do, ended their show with a Nativity Scene, all holding candles and singing Silent Night, a truly beautiful event and one that is remembered throughout the entire year.
