Garden City Park Lady Liberty

Vs. East Islip Celtics Saturday

Lady Liberty came to play with fierce offensive play by Rachel Blank and Christina Romano. Alexandra Flori then put the first goal of the game in the back of the net. GOAL!!! Then Islip tied it up. But strong defense by Alyssa Tagios, Erica Antonison, Emanuela Castellano, and Stephanie Lobacarro held Islip back. Again Lady Liberty came on strong with a pass from Ali Fernandez to Alexandra Flori to Kim Rieger who sent it in the goal. Very solid midfield play by Kristen Morales and Marissa Peralta. Great all around game ladies.

November 18

Garden City Park Lady Liberty vs. Farmingdale

On a cold blustery day the Lady Liberty girls warmed up fast. Emanuela Castellano, Andrea Iammatteo, and Lauren Lanzo held off numerous attacks from the Farmingdale offense. On a penalty shot, Farmingdale made a wall, but Ali Fernandez put it right past them into the corner. GOAL!!!! Again, our midfielders Bridget McHugh and Kristen Morales held Farmingdale back. Great saves on goal by Jessica Young. Jennifer Labate broke out and put a move on the goalie and put one in the net. GOAL!!! Lady Liberty wins again! Congratulations! Great Season! Go Lady Liberty!
