J&K Electrical Contracting Corp. "Rockies"
The Rockies have jumped out to a 3-0 start in the East Williston Fall Classic. The starting rotation has dominated; Danny Luchino, Travis Finkel & Brennan Scanlon have demonstrated why they are the top pitchers in this organization. They have blown away batters and fought their way out of jams. The supporting role is by the spectacular plays made on the field by every player on this team. Coming out of the full time catcher's spot, Joey Richards has been compared to Jose Reyes at short with his new soccer cleats. Go figure! Paul Reo has found a home on this team behind the plate, sporting a cannon for an arm, and has been hitting the ball like a man. Austin Ward has been the epitome of a lead off batter with a .700 OBP and has done everything right at 2nd base. The Theo Brothers (always smiling) always produce when you need them to. Pat, rock solid on the field and can go with a pitch better than anybody. Young Matt, playing up, has contributed to our winning ways with great plays on the field and getting the bat on the ball when needed, especially with his bunting skills. Also playing up is Liam Slattery whose focus and hustle have him blending in with the big guys. Tyler Carrick has been stellar at 1st base and has been swinging a good bat. Last but not least is Johnny Leva, who has been doing it all, he can pitch, he can play anywhere, he can hit and he does them all well.
