The theme of the Herricks Homecoming floats was "Experience the Magic" and each class did just that by taking a page out of some of Walt Disney's most popular offerings.

The winner was the senior class who very cleverly depicted The Lion King. The juniors won second place with their float Aladdin, the third place went to the sophomores who created The Little Mermaid and fourth place was presented to the ninth grade students who picked Fantasia as their theme. They were all wonderful and very clever.

It must have been a hard call to choose the King and Queen but Vincent LaMaida was crowned King and Sabina Chadiramadi the Queen.

It was a picture perfect day as the parade stepped off on Park Avenue to wind its way to the high school football field.
