Virgilio Chiropractic Power Puffs
In their Championship Saturday final game, the girls shined bright, Daniella Connor had a hit to the outfield; Isabella Fazzolari also hit he ball hard; Eleni Polichronakis looks real good swinging the bat; Una Reid is a real solid hitter, getting several hits; Lauren Wassermann has a nice sweet swing, making good contact with the ball off the T; Madeline Slaski is real smooth in the field, making good throws to first base; Rosie Hagermann really enjoys playing baseball, making contact with the ball off the T. If this team stays together, there is no telling how far they can go. The sky's the limit.

Andrea LoRusso-Pesiri, DC "Blue Jays" (3)
Vs. Nuzzi Fuel Oil "Red Sox" (1)
The Blue Jays, who finished with the best record in the regular season, advanced to the championship game with a 3-1 victory over the Red Sox. The Red Sox, however, received an outstanding pitching performance from Vinny Patrey, who made some excellent plays fielding his position, too. Also on the defensive side of the field, Red Sox 1st baseman Mitch Schwartz & catcher Craig Schmid turned in very strong games. The Red Sox' offense had trouble gaining any momentum against the Blue Jays, managing to get only 2 hits, which were singles off the bats of Tom Kelly & Jake Grusd.

ABC Rental "River Sharks"
Vs. and the J&K Electrical Contracting Corp. "Pride"
This was a tremendous Little League game by both the River Sharks and the Pride. There was great pitching, great defense and clutch hitting by both teams. The River Sharks had great pitching by Vinny, Sam & Stephen. Harrison had 2 hits while Stephen & Josh had clutch hits in the bottom of the 7th inning. Vinny make a great throw from right field to stop a runner at 2nd from scoring. Great game was played by Ben, Joe, Denes, Ralph & Belvin, a job well done. Congratulations to the Pride on a great season.
