Francis M. (Frank) O'Connor, of Albertson, died on April 24, 2007. A US Navy veteran, he was a retired lieutenant with FDNY serving from 1946 to 1976. He was a member of St. Aidan's Church, member and past president of the Holy Name Society, usher and coordinator of Hospital Visitors. He was counter and past president of Williston Park Senior Citizens. Husband of the late Mary (Mae). Father of Robert and Marilyn O'Connor Heiss, Annemarie O'Connor and Peter Kennedy and Edward T. and Linda Jablonski O'Connor. Grandfather of Christine and Gordon, Brian, Maggie and Julio, Kate and Rick, Kevin, Derek and Cara. Great-grandfather of Max, Aidan and Liam. Brother of Elizabeth Alferman, Robert and the late Edward. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. John W. Feidner, of Southampton, formerly of East Williston, died on May 4, 2007. He was a WWII veteran serving on the USS Grundy. Husband of Mary C. Feidner and the late Nancy E. Smith Feidner.
