Peter Pinto Is Elected to Hillside Library Board By Write-in Vote

Please note: The Illustrated News was not apprised by the Hillside Library Board that library board president Richard Bursig was not running for reelection. No candidate came forward to pick up petitions. Therefore, on the day of the elections there was a write-in vote for several people and Peter Pinto won with 31 votes. The other write-in votes were: Three for Curtis Axelsen; Five for Richard Bursig; One for Joseph Alfieri; One for Dorothy Barseic.

Hillside Library Trustee and President Richard Bursig did not run for reelection. However, since no candidate came forward there were write in votes and Peter Pinto won that election with 31 votes. There were 3 write in votes for Curtis Axelsen, 5 for Richard Bursig, 1 for Joseph Alfieri and 1 for Dorothry Baricec.
