Broadway Plaza Hotel "Giants"

The Giants have some big hitters on the team, including the sluggin' Spencers (Kern and Horowitz), Jake Raphael, and Dylan Kareff - all showing their prowess from the tee. Team speed will be a major factor this year, with Jake Blancher, Ryan Singer, and Jordan Seidenberg already running the bases like pros. Of course you can't go far without good defense, & we have plenty of terrific fielders. Philip Menist & Eric Madenberg showed off their strong arms, and Timothy Lee & Sam Ugolini were in midseason form catching ground balls. Sam Chiche & Jason Beeferman were all-around standouts on the day. In all, the Giants had a great first day and look forward to a memorable season.

Only the 2nd game of the season, but these 2 teams battled each other showing off their skills as if they had been playing winter baseball in Venezuela all winter long. The weather proved to be rough for all players (and parents), but both teams showed guts while they braved the elements this cold afternoon. On the mound for the Mariners were Brennan Scanlon, Johnathan Cioffi, & Andrew Curcio, each racking up several strikeouts, while taming many of the Orioles bats. Mariners' catchers Evan Clark & Alex Cowen did a great job behind the plate handling fast pitching on a cold day.
