At the beginning of March, the New Hyde Park Cellini Lodge No. 2206, installed as its president Jean Gagliardo. At the event President Gagliardo made the following statement:
"In 1984 I was honored and installed as president of the then Cellini Lodge Ladies' Auxiliary. Now I am honored to be installed as the newly elected president of Cellini Lodge, itself. What a privilege it will be for me to serve as president. The next two years will hold many challenges. With your support and loyalty to the lodge, we will move forward. My focus will be on the following:

All smiles and ready to take the oath of office is newly installed Cellini President Jean Gagliardo with immediate past president Anthony Milazzo.

• Membership: working with our membership and welcoming committee, I will expand advertising, new programs and new activities. A youth group will definitely be considered.
• Fund Raising: Supporting our established committees in this area, I will encourage exciting trips, guest speakers and expand already successful activities.
• Culture, Heritage and Language: The dissemination of our culture, heritage and language is very important to me. To accomplish this I have established a new committee with Grace Ferrara as our "community liaison." We will reach out into the schools with research materials, posters, contests, holiday guides and much more.
With all of our exciting committees, I will commit myself to a future filled with hard work. However, I will also work towards exciting and fund filled lodger programs. Sister Anna Muela will be the new Scholarship Chairperson with Brother Leo Todaro as the Columbus Day Parade Chairperson.
The calendar of meetings and monthly special events keep everyone informed of upcoming happenings. The general business meeting is a great way to meet new members, take care of OSIA business and enjoy a social night out with friends, Attend our meetings to enjoy some new surprises.
Your contribution to Cellini Lodge, no matter how small, is not only needed, but will be appreciated by me and our officers. We are ALL Cellini Lodge. Let us rejoice knowing we are members of a successful established OSIA (Order Sons of Italy in America).
We must maintain our unique status in the order and strive for a continued strong and vibrant lodge. On back of the OSIA 75th convention prayer card is written: 'Do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trial.' That is my motto for Cellini Lodge."
