New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Holds Gala Installation

At the Inn of New Hyde Park, the members of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce gathered for a gala installation and delicious dinner, coupled with a time, prior to the dinner, for networking among the merchants.

Nassau County Clerk Maureen O'Connell, who is the GOP senatorial candidate, along with Nassau County Legislator Richard Nicolello both did the swearing in honors for the New Hyde Park members sworn into office. Along with them is New York State Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt and the chamber inductees including: Christopher Vulpis, Richard DeMartino, Ralph Ventura, Stewart Small, Mark Laytin, John Gebbie and Ann Joyce.

Members flocked to the Inn for the annual event, which is always a fun time. Many wonderful prizes are donated by various merchants, the members take chances on them and everyone goes home a winner; the members with wonderful prizes and the chamber with a somewhat swelled treasury.

Senatorial Candidate Maureen O'Connell was on hand to do the swearing in honors as was Nassau County Legislator Richard Nicolello and Angela Powers started off the festivities by singing the Star Spangled Banner.

This year Chris Vulpis, of RKLL & Co., CPAs, was once again sworn in as chamber president as were the following officers:
