Town Holds Follow-up Meeting on Hillside Avenue Properties
Last week North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jon Kaiman, along with council members Lee Seaman and Angelo Ferrara held another public hearing to address the concerns of residents in New Hyde Park who live in the vicinity of Hillside Avenue and New Hyde Park Road and Hillside Park Drive.

It is with great pleasureŠ the New Hyde Park Wildcats Board of Directors announce the induction of Richard Bletsch into the Long Island Junior Soccer League Hall of Fame.Š Rich Bletsch has been an active Wildcat member for over 20 years, coaching his children up from the intramural ranks and then thru-out the travel years.Š He continued to volunteer his timeŠin various capacitiesŠlong after his children were done playing soccer,Šand currently serves as our Clubs treasurer, however, it is as the Director for our Top soccer program, which enables our special needs children the opportunity to participate in playing soccer, where Rich═s passion lies.Š His dedication to this program has been evident for many years and his efforts haveŠplaced the WildcatsŠat Šthe forefront of the entire Long Island Top Soccer program.&nbs; Rich will be the first one to say that the success of this program could not have been done by him alone, but it is with volunteers like Rich, who helped Šbuild, organize Šand maintain it, to the level it has reached.
