The members of the Williston Park Village Board and residents dedicated its village gem, the village pool, to former Williston Park Village Mayor Roger Fay with a gala dinner dance held on the pool deck last Saturday evening. On a sweltering summer night, as the temperature started to sizzle so did the Mets bats. Chris C., Anthony C., Chris V. and Jonathan A. (J.J) all went at least 3 for 3. The Mets gloves were also on fire, David G., Adam S., Alessandro D., Max M., and Max D. all made some great big league plays to keep the tough Braves at bay.
