Williston Park Residents Protest O'Brien's Bar Extended Music Hours
In a very vocal Williston Park meeting, held last week, residents crowded the Williston Park Village Hall, to protest the extended hours for music requested by O'Brien's Bar located at 606/607 Willis Avenue in Williston Park.

New Hyde Park Holds Spectacular Class of '06 Graduations
The senior class at Herricks High decided to hold its graduation on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. and it was delightful. Although the day was hot and humid when the graduates stepped off from the school, on the way to the football field there was a soft breeze blowing and the temperature was very comfortable. Many grandparents and special guests were seated in a covered, but open tent while the rest of spectators were in the bleachers.

The Jaguars played tough today in the pouring rain. Anthony DiMarco, Sean Ryan and Andrew Curcio played great offense. Brian Ambadjes started an awesome play, Chris Pun maintained it by rebounding the ball with his head to Mike Zornberg who scored the first goal. Amityville battled back and the game ended 1-1 at the half. The Jaguars came out strong in the second half with Anthony Cacchioli and Peter Keenan in defense. Matt Pappacena made several great saves in goalie. Brendan Deery was on his game today scoring the second Jaguar goal with a blast into the back of the net.The Amityville team fought hard and tied up the game 2-2. Late in the second half , Chris Pun passed the ball to Brendan who took a shot which was blocked by the goalie. When the goalie dropped the ball Brendan was there to follow up his shot and scored the Jaguars third goal.Great teamwork was demonstrated by both sides and the game ended in a 3-3 tie.
