The Braves returned to action against a tough Rangers team. Despite missing a few stalwarts and fielding only 7 players, some strong hitting was displayed by Harry Schildkraut, Corey Rutkin, Timothy Fogarty, Gregory Haynes & Jack Tucker, who each had big hits, including a bases-clearing smash by Greg. Excellent defense was turned in by Brian Volk on a fantastic stop and flip to first base to quell a big rally and by Dylan Silverstein who repeatedly snared hot shots up the middle. Missing players included Peter Restivo, Jacob Portnoy, Pranshu Babber & Jacob Seidenberg, who has been placed on the DL. As has been the case all season, all players displayed tremendous teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm, and fun was had by all. FULL STORY
