Capris are joined by North Hempstead Town Councilman Angelo Ferrara, Frank Reina, Nick Santamaria, Town Department and Recreation Assistant Mary Mahaffey, event sponsor State Bank of Long Island Senior Vice President Robert Valli and Capris new member John Monforte.

The very popular singing group The Capris were back in great voice on the deck of the New Hyde Park Clinton Martin Park Pool, courtesy of the Town of North Hempstead Parks & Recreation Department and State Bank of Long Island, all coordinated by Parks & Rec "mover and shaker" Mary Mahaffey.

The area around the group was packed as those in attendance sang and danced along with the dynamic group. And, as usual, they brought the house down with their favorites There's a Moon Out Tonight and Run Around Sue.

This year John Monforte joined leader Nick Santamaria and Frank Reina and as a special treat, they were introduced by Don K. Reed of the Doo Op Shop.

The night was beautiful with a soft breeze, rare this summer and everyone had a great time.
