A considerable amount of time was taken up at the last Herricks School Board meeting at Center St. School regarding community members who were notified that their children would lose transportation due to re-measurement of the distances between schools and homes. New Hyde Park Memorial Baseball is proud that three of its graduating seniors will be playing college baseball. Tom Farina is a three year starter, a two year award winner, and winner of the NAILS award. This award is presented to the hardest working player in the program. Farina will be playing for New Jersey Institute of Technology which is a Division II program and majoring in engineering.
