New Hyde Park Wildcats Roundup
Girls U-6 - The mighty U6 Hot Shots came ready to play up in the U7 division. Congratulations for a great third place finish. Each game was decided by a single goal. Our defense was magnificent with Victoria Gaspe leading the way at center. She also scored our game winning goal in the first contest. Brittney Battista pushed her way through to pass the ball to a waiting Jillian Minda for the game tying goal in the second contest. Emma Nidermaier and Amanda Choy were huge on defense turning the other team around time and time again. Hannah Arkin and Natalie Kariotis showed us some dribbling skills as well as taking a few lumps for the team. In the last contest, Ciara Jennings and Bridget Shea stood tall in the back field playing awesome defense. Natalie Schlueck scored our game winning goal on a breakaway for the win. Great goal tending by Natalie S., Brittney, Emma, Caira and Hannah. I am so proud of all of you. See you next season.
