    New Hyde Park traditionally holds two Memorial Parades each year-one sponsored by the New Hyde Park VFW and American Legion on the Saturday before Memorial Day, the other sponsored by the Garden City Park VFW on Monday, the actual Memorial Day. FULL STORY

    The Athletics met a strong, well coached & disciplined Cubs team and fought them to the end coming up just short. Multiple hits were recorded by Sahil Rawal, Brett Baker, Matthew Mastoridis and Tyler Cabrera. Gregory Kyro and John Stampfli played solid defense. Alex Matos went 5 for 5 reaching base every at bat.
