Legislator Nicolello Invites Public to Attend Environmental Meeting
Nassau County Legislator Richard J. Nicolello urges all residents to attend an important meeting of the Nassau County Environmental Program Advisory Committee on March 16 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at Herricks Middle School, 7 Hillside Drive, Albertson. The meeting, the final in a series of three, will explore options on how to protect Nassau County's fragile environment and save the last remaining lots of open space.

Turner and Chugh to Run as Team for School Board
Christine Turner and Nalini Chugh have announced that they plan to run for the Herricks School Board in the election to be held May 17. Christine Turner has been a Herricks School Board member for the last 15 years and is running for re-election. Nalini Chugh is running for the seat held currently by trustee Karin Filippi.

New Hyde Park Wildcats Roundup
Sean McGonigle became active in the New Hyde Park Wildcats in 1994 when his older son, Sean, joined the boys' intramural program. Sean has volunteered as an assistant coach to John Riccardi and little did Sean realize that he would be volunteering away his weekends. He quickly became head coach, then division director for the boys' intramural program.
