At the last New Hyde Park Village board meeting Deputy Mayor Robert Lofaro announced that the village had just received a report from FPM Engineering Group reporting on the third quarter Groundwater Monitoring at the New Hyde Park Village Garage. FPM recommended that one more round of groundwater monitoring be performed and if the data at that time indicates it has been successfully remediated, they will recommend the site be closed.
