Annette (Annie) Russell, of New Hyde Park, joined her beloved husband the late James Russell on Oct. 24, 2004 at the age of 75. She is a native of Maynooth, Ireland and the loving mother of John (Tony), Brian, Norman, Deidra, Paul, Ann, Sandra, Jim, Richie and David. Caring mother-in-law of Theresa, Carol, Michelle, Artie, Nancy, Debbie, Liz and Nancy. Devoted grandmother of James, Michael, Richie, Thomas, Danny, Tara, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Megan, Kevin, Brianne, Kelly, Patrick, Cara, Colleen, Matthew and Lauren. Cherished sister of Jack Weafer, Ena Sweeney and the late Charlotte Mooney. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Oct. 28 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, New Hyde Park. Interment was at Holy Rood Cemetery. The family was cared for by the Thomas Dalton Funeral Home.
