The New Hyde Park Village officials were forced to reschedule the 9th Annual Street Fair to the rain date of Oct. 2. For the first time in 9 years, due to the forecast of heavy rain, the fair was postponed. Please note that the fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jericho Turnpike between New Hyde Park Road and Covert Avenue.The fair extends from Jericho Turnpike between New Hyde Park Road and Covert Avenue and, as usual, the street will be closed for this event.
