New Hyde Park Chamber Holds 9/11 Ceremony
The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce held a moving dedication of a bench to honor all those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. The bench was unveiled outside Clinton Martin Park Recreational Center at a ceremony led by chamber president Florence Lisanti.

Bierwirth Announces Meetings To be Held at Center Street
At the outset of the last Herricks meeting, Superintendent Dr. Jack Bierwirth announced that all meetings, unless specifically stated, would be held at the Center Street School Kindergarten All Purpose Room. He said the decision was made because the room is centrally air-conditioned, not like the Herricks Community Center room that has two portable, very loud air-conditioners.

New Hyde Park Wildcats Roundup
Developmental Soccer The New Hyde Park Wildcats will expand our successful Developmental program to include U6/7(combined), U8 and U9 age groups. Those interested in professional training to enhance their play should remit their developmental application and fees to the PO Box by September 18th. Premier Soccer Academy will be doing the U6/7 and U8 age groups on the players' off day, Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. at the Herricks Community Center field and Sundays at 4:30 p.m.at the Center Street field. The U9 age group will be done by the Rough Riders, also on the player’s off-days. Saturdays and Sundays at 4:30 p.m. at the Denton Avenue field. Questions are to be directed to Dave Gilroy at 437-3746. Expected starting dates September 18 and 19th.
