William "Bill" T. Murphy died on March 1, 2004. He was a 30-year patrolman with NCPD. He served as director of the New Hyde Park Police Boys Club for 23 years. He was 1975 "Man of the Year" New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce. Beloved husband of Theresa. Loving father of William, John (Eileen), Dennis (Cheryl), Kevin (Sandi) and Terence. Cherished grandpa of 14. Devoted brother of Catherine. Arrangements were made by the New Hyde Park Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
