At the beginning of the last Herricks School Board meeting teachers who received the Herricks Fund Mini-Grant awards, for the projects they they proposed, were presented checks by Herricks Fund Vice-President Jackie McHugh. The New Hyde Park railroad grade crossing problem was discussed once again at the last New Hyde Park village meeting.
