Knights of Columbus Lodge #2852 "Athletics"
Vs. F & F Roofing "Brewers"
On a beautiful fall day the Athletics faced the mighty Brewers for the second time this season. The Athletics played very well and the offense was powered by the bats of Matthew Satoris, Vinny Patrey and Daniel Doreste each with three hits. Also contributing on offense were Michael Barry, Liam Quinn and Justin Roth each with two hits. The defense was anchored by James Cotumaccio, Joseph Tricarico and Landon Phillips, all flashing some leather, and behind the plate, was the solid catching of Antonio Prunella. Great game Athletics and thanks to Mr. Prunella for all your help. Lets Go A'
Fundamental Baseball Camps "Rangers"
Vs. Dr. Barbaro "Dodgers"
Another outstanding game by all the Rangers against a talented Dodgers club. The Rangers offense was led by Chris Ferlazzo (4 singles, 4 runs scored, 1 rbi), Andrew Curcio (4 singles, 3 runs, rbi), Steven Cacchioli (3 singles, 2 runs, 2 rbi), Joseph Hogan (3 singles, run, 2 rbi), Michael Sitzer (3 singles, run, 2 rbi), Anthony Cacchioli (3 singles, run, rbi), Brett Dieber (2 singles, 2 rbi), Andrew Kraus (single, rbi), Giovanni Castelli (2 singles, run), and Jared Diamond (2 singles, run). Clean-up hitter Justin Diamond was awesome, smacking a double and 2 singles, drove in 4 runs, and scored a run. Nice glove work by Chris, Steven, Michael, and the Diamond brothers. Super game Rangers.
Dr. Barbaro "Dodgers" Vs. Fundamental Baseball Camp "Rangers."
The Dodgers met a tough Ranger team on Saturday. It was a brisk October day, but both teams heated up the field with some great baseball. The game turned into a veritable slugfest when Joe DiMonte crushed the ball for a double bringing home Benjamin Lee (who was three for three at the bat) and advancing Maxwell Nettler (who hit two solid singles) to third. Travis Finkel was a powerhouse hitting doubles in the first and third innings. The Dodger lineup was in top form at the plate with unstoppable hits made by Dylan Forrester, Mark Thomas, Erin Rivera, Thomas Fong, Richard Husch, Jayson Molina and Justin Baque. Erin Rivera once again ran like the wind rounding two bases on Nicholas Campanella's single to come home in the sixth. All of the players contributed to a tough Dodger defense which was highlighted by Thomas Fong who made a great stop in left field, Travis Finkel who snatched a fly ball out of the air and Dylan Forrester who fired the ball to Benjamin Lee for an out at first. There was strong fielding by all of the players who received invaluable support from Michael Husch. We can't wait to see what these boys do next.

T. F. O'Brien "Patriots" (9)
Vs. Levittown (4)
The Patriots must be a cold weather team, because while the temperature lowered the Patriot bats turned up the heat pulling out a 9 - 4 victory over Levittown. Strong pitching efforts were turned in by Louis Simione who pitched the first 4 innings giving up 1 hit with 8 strikeouts and David Luchino pitching the last 2 innings giving up only 2 hits while striking out 3. Michael Tangredi was every where in this game first making a diving stop on a screaming liner up the middle turning it into an out at first, then by lighting up the base paths going 2 for 2 with 2 walks, 3 runs scored a triple and 5 stolen bases. John Fitzgerald also played terrific making a fantastic catch in centerfield on a deep fly ball and going 2 for 3 at the plate with a triple. Other contributions were from David Luchino, 1 for 4 with 1 run scored, a stolen base, 1 RBI; Louis Simione 1 for 2; Matt Dillon 1 for 1 with 1 run scored, 1 double, 3 stolen bases; Bradley Reider 1 for 1 with 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 stolen base; Matt Miller 1 for 2 with 1 run scored, 1 walk and 4 stolen bases. Bradley Reider filled in for 1 inning at catcher for an injured Matt Dillon and threw out a would be base stealer, way to go Brad! Web gems were also turned in by Michael Robert Lewis, Johnny Mahon, Eric Hand, Michael Ibrahim and Danny Spratt. Go Patriots!

T. F. O'Brien "Patriots" (7)
Vs. New Hyde Park (10)
The Patriots ended their season with a strong game against New Hyde Park. The game lasted 8 innings with the Patriots once again losing a heart breaker 10 - 8. The Patriots were led by Mike Tangredi who was 2 for 3 with 1 run scored, 2 doubles, a walk & stolen base and David Luchino who was 2 for 3 with a run scored, a walk, 2 stolen bases & 2 RBI's. Other strong contributions were made by Michael Robert Lewis, 1 for 3 with a double, 2 stolen bases, a walk & RBI; Bradley Reider, 1 for 2 with 2 walks, 1 run scored & 2 stolen bases; Matt Miller 1 for 3, 1 run scored, 1 walk & 2 stolen bases. Matt Dillon was once again super behind the plate as was John Fitzgerald in center and as pitcher getting us our of a bases loaded jam in the 7th inning. Michael Ibrahim and Danny Spratt both had strong games at first base. Johnny Mahon played a solid 2nd base, and Eric Hand was super in left field and pitching the 3rd and 4th innings. Louis Simione missed this game but was a major asset to the team. I would like to thank the Patriots families for their strong support of the team and my coaches throughout the season, Rich Dillon, Mike Simione, Sam Ibrahim, Gordon Lewis & Jim Spratt. I would also like to thank Jimmy Richards, Jack Kelly and Merillon AA for a super Fall Tournament. It was a pleasure coaching these boys, we had alot of fun and a super season. Thank you all!
