Herricks Mothers Complain About Students Promiscuous Dress
Mother after mother complained, at the last Herricks School Board meeting, about the inappropriate dress of students. However, the complaint was targeted mainly at the female students. According to the moms, it seems that "anything" goes including tank tops, shirts that don't reach the waist, hip-hugger shorts, and navel exposing jeans not to mention the huge high heels on clumpy clogs.

Merillon Little League Baseball Scores
The first game of the Fall Season was exciting as usual. The Athletics came out hitting, led by Daniel Doreste, Maxwell Nettler, Nicholas Winkhart, James Cotumaccio and Matthew Sartoris. Flashing the leather on defense were Liam Quinn, Joseph Tricarico, Vinny Patrey, Landon Phillips and Justin Roth. Michael Barry, Antonia Prunella and Sam Weinbaum did a great job behind the plate. Thanks to all and looking forward to a great Fall Season. Go Athletics.

New Hyde /Park Wildcats Roundup
As many of you are aware, our club was not given a usage permit for the Center Street and Herricks Community Center fields. So, as of this writing, we do not have permission to use those fields. Our notification of this came at the end of the week and we had to scurry about to find spots for our Intramural Program.
