New Hyde Park Residents Furious with Latest Councilmatic Map
The residents of New Hyde Park are furious with the latest councilmatic map presented by the North Hempstead Town Board. At a meeting held Monday, for the purpose of comments, at town hall New Hyde Park resident after resident came to the microphone to express both their fury and frustration over the crafting of such a map.

Merillon Little League Update
After a brief thunderstorm and some grounds crew work, the field was ready for play. Both teams played great, the Athletics outstanding hitting performance was led by Sam Weinbaum, Andrew Seger and Michael Barry, each with four hits. Adding more offense with three hits each were Joseph Tricarico and James Cotumaccio. The very much improved infield was anchored by Nick Perrone and Vinny Patry, who managed to collect several outs. Also flashing some leather on defense were Jonathan Uy and Mark Fuller (take care of the new glove). The Athletics have improved both on offense and defense, and the coaching staff is pleased to have a great bunch of kids. Keep up the hard work. Let's go A's/
