Herricks School Board President Emilia Sutz released the following information to the Illustrated News early Tuesday morning stating that the judge has dismissed the case against the district regarding the move from the administration building to the Herricks Community Center. FULL STORY

The residents of New Hyde Park are furious with the latest councilmatic map presented by the North Hempstead Town Board. At a meeting held Monday, for the purpose of comments, at town hall New Hyde Park resident after resident came to the microphone to express both their fury and frustration over the crafting of such a map. After a brief thunderstorm and some grounds crew work, the field was ready for play. Both teams played great, the Athletics outstanding hitting performance was led by Sam Weinbaum, Andrew Seger and Michael Barry, each with four hits. Adding more offense with three hits each were Joseph Tricarico and James Cotumaccio. The very much improved infield was anchored by Nick Perrone and Vinny Patry, who managed to collect several outs. Also flashing some leather on defense were Jonathan Uy and Mark Fuller (take care of the new glove).
