Samuel Pupo, of Williston Park, died on March 31, 2003. A WWII US Navy veteran, he was a retired iron worker and employee of St. Aidan's RC Church. Husband of the late Emanuella. Father of Barbara Sharkey (Robert), Darlene Carlstrom (Richard) and Edward (Tracy). Grandfather of Christopher, Matthew, Nicole and Joseph. Brother of Esther Rovito. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. William Spahn, 86, died on April 16, 2003 at Vassar Bros. Hospital in Poughkeepsie, and Louise Quirin Spahn, 93, died on April 16, 2003 at Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta, NY. William Spahn, son of the late Jakob Spahn and Pauline Nunnez, was employed by the Mt. Vernon Bakery. Louise Spahn, daughter of Louis Quirin and Bertha Krebs, was an accountant with the LIRR. The Spahns were preceded in death by their daughter Louise Kneeter. They are survived by their grandchildren, Richard Brown, Stephen and Madalyn Kneeter of Milton, NY, and Diane Brown of Sidney Center, NY; and their great-grandchildren, Christine Pierce, David Pierce, Matthew Kneeter and Adam Kneeter. Arrangements were made by the DiDonato Funeral Home, Marlboro, NY. Services were officiated by Pastor David Ballou. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Gardiner.
