For the second time in its history the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce inducted a woman as its president. Mary Ellen Divone was sworn into office by New Hyde Park Mayor Daniel Petruccio on Monday night, Feb. 10, at Pencenzo's restaurant on Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park and the place was packed in spite of the bitter cold and snow on the ground. The Oneonta State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will began competition at the 2003 SUNYAC Championships on Wednesday. The first day will begin at noon with the diving competition and continue Thursday, Friday and Saturday with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. each day. The Red Dragons have a solid contingent of competitors on both sides as they hope to improve on their eighth place finishes of a year ago. FULL STORY
