Ella A. Hoenig, 97, of Williston Park, died on Jan. 22, 2003. She was a member of the Mineola Golden Age Club. She was born July 15, 1904 in Chatham, NJ. Daughter of the late Louis and Pauline. Aunt of Donald and Bruce Hoenig. Sister of the late Frederick, Arthur and Jane Hoenig. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Interment German Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Myersville, NJ. Robert F. Giles, 86, formerly of Williston Park, died on Jan. 23, 2003. Brother of the late Margaret M., Anastasia and Thomas. Loving uncle, devoted friend and a former employee of Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Williston Park. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Fred N. Amato Sr., formerly of East Williston, died on Jan. 24, 2003. He was a retired member of Local 38 Sheet Metal Workers Union. Husband of the late Caroline. Father of Fred, Thomas, Robert and Richard. Grandfather of Brian, Laura, Dan, Anthony, Cristina, Christopher, Michael, Brianna, Matthew and Dana. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
