New Hyde Park Lions Boys U-11 Place Third in Tournament
The New Hyde Park Lions Soccer team boys U-11 participated in the Franklin Square, Altas M Hassan Memorial Soccer Tournament. The boys who played with determination and constant action took home a Third Place Indoor Tournament Trophy. On goal were Alex Bruschi, Drew Carrick, Andrew Oommen and Brennan Chu. Strong defense by Nikhil James, Max Tennenbaum and Charlie Arman plus quick saves and all around incredible goal tending earned Robert Abballe the MVP Goalie Awards of the tournament.

Lions Soccer U-11 Team Takes a
Second Place Indoor Trophy
On Jan. 20 the New Hyde Park Boys Soccer U-11 team played off the wall and as a result took home a second place indoor trophy on Martin Luther King Day. The Lions participated in the 100 percent Soccer, Inc. Indoor Soccer Tournament at World Gym in Setauket. Players who made goals include: Robert Abballe, Alex Bruschi, Drew Carrick, Thomas Kuenzel, Andrew Commen, Steve Palazzolo, Greg Priest and Max Tennenbaum.
