First Phase of Construction Underway at New Hyde Park Schools
Construction managers for school renovations, Nick Amaruso and Mike Peck, reported at the last New Hyde Park/Garden City Park school board meeting that bids have been opened and they are both encouraged because the initial bids have come in "underbid." Further, it looks like some of the construction can soon begin. They explained that the safety fences are now being installed along with temporary parking lots and security gates.

New Hyde Park Holds Moving Veterans Day Ceremony
On a dank and dreary day just at the stroke of 11 a.m. on the 11th day of the 11th month, the New Hyde Park Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion marched out of Marcus Christ Hall and encircled the New Hyde Park Village Hall lawn for its annual solemn Veterans Day commemoration.

On behalf of the New Hyde Park Wildcats Board of Directors we want to thank everyone for their support of our 24th Annual Dinner Dance which was held on November 1st.
