With a large enthusiastic crowd on hand, the Dodgers and Braves played their hearts out, in what was a fantastic game! Clutch hitting was the highlight of the Dodgers attack with Michael Ring, Chris Rocco, and Andrew Pugliese getting on base at the top of the order. Ryan Gaitan, Austin Ward, and Chris Rivera each drove in 2 RBI each. Joe and Robert Dimonte showed great speed and base running to help the Dodger cause. Mike Barry played great outfield and showed a great arm. Mark Thomas hit a long fly that was tracked down in deep left field, showing tremendous power. Special on this night was the play of Dominico Fazzolari, who not only stroked 3 hits, but ran the bases with great hussle and skill. All the parents and Coaches are very proud of you all. ABC Rental Dodgers Vs.
Fundamental Baseball Camp Yankees
On the last day of the summer league schedule, the Dodgers and the Yankees hooked up in a fantastic game. With great defense and timely hitting the Dodgers pulled it out in the last inning. On defense, Ryan Gaitan made a nifty back hand stab of a line drive and turned it into a double play! Michael Ring nabbed a runner sliding into third for an inning ending play in the 4th! Joe Dimonte had 3 rbi's! Dominico Fazzolari continued his improvement with 3 hits and fast base running! Chris Rivera, Robert Dimonte, and Austin Ward each had 2 hits and showed great hustle all night long! Troy Driscoll and Mark Thomas played the infield and outfield, showing speed and agility! In the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs , Chris Rocco delivered a clutch game tying single. Yank manager Jim Richards pulled the infield in to stop the winning run. Great strategy by Jim. But it did not work, because Andrew Pugliese stroked a single through the middle for the Dodger Win! What a Game! A beautiful summer night at Merillon field! Thanks for the support and assistance of all parents who helped out this summer season, and hope to see you all this Fall. Al Pugliese/Mike Rocco

Massapequa then scored 3 runs in the 3rd again to see the All Stars score 2 n the 5th to knot it up. Neither team scored again ending the game because of darkness at a 6 - 6 tie. Another big game at the plate for Mike Cascio going 2 for 3 with a double, run scored & 2 RBIs and Joe Faller going 2 for 3.
