The Annual Herricks Fair, to benefit the Herricks Fund, opened Friday night and it was a lovely, balmy summer evening. However, about 8:30 p.m. the heavens opened and a treacherous rain, wind and thunder storm blew across the area sending everyone at the fair scrambling for cover.
