Victor John Sansonetti, 59, of Williston Park, died on May 7, 2002. He worked for the NC Dept. of Assessment for 30 years. Husband of Lucille. Father of Catherine, Anthony and Christine. Foyle, 53, of New Hyde Park, died on May 10, 2002. He was a retired NYC Police Detective. Husband of Maryann. Uncle of Kelly, Brianna and Anthony. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, New Hyde Park. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Notre Dame RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Thomas Joseph McAllister, of Williston Park, died on May 12, 2002. A WWII veteran, he was a sergeant in the US Marine Corps serving in the Battle of Guadalcanal. He was a member of VFW Post #885, College Point and Knights of Columbus Council #1463 College Point. Husband of Theresa. Father of Eileen Falvey, Thomas, John, Brian and Colleen Cassidy. Grandfather of 10. Brother of Theresa Meehan, Helen Scanlon, Bernard, Felix, John and the late Lawrence and Edward. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Veteran and fraternal services. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Contributions can be made, in Thomas McAllister's memory, to the American Cancer Society. Joseph Saccente, 73, formerly of New Hyde Park, died on May 16, 2002. Husband of Rosaria. Father of Richard and Sandy, Marie and Robert Barletta and Lisa and Thomas Drennan. Grandfather of six. Brother of Lucy Schulaski, Grace O'Malley, Angelo Saccente, the late William Saccente, the late Margie Brzeski and the late Mary Curry. Brother-in-law of Connie and Steve Mallardi, Dominick and Alice Cataldo and Anne and the late Vincent Cataldo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, New Hyde Park. Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Spirit RC Church. Interment Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery.
