The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Installation Dinner at Umberto's last week swearing in Peter Caputo as its president; Mary Ellen Divone as first vice-president; Richard D. Martini as second vice-president and John Suprenant as third vice-president, who was not present for the ceremonies; treasurer Chris Vulpis and secretary Virginia Koehler.
Also sworn in for another three-year term as directors were Paul Wesoly, Zelda Platt and Joseph Smolenski

New Hyde Park Village Mayor Daniel Petruccio was present to administer the oath of office to the officers and directors. Other village board members at the dinner included Deputy Mayor Robert Lofaro and Trustee Richard Coppola
The upstairs room was packed as chamber members were treated to all the best in Umberto's menu.
Present at the festive dinner was former New Hyde Park Village Trustee and Chairperson of the Historical Society Florence Lisanti; former Chamber President John Infranca, Immediate Past President of the Chamber David Goodsell. Also spotted at the event were State Bank of Long Island Senior Vice President Thomas Arnone with New Hyde Park resident Hazel McCord, State Bank of Long Island Assistant in the Municipal Department; dinner Chairwoman and former Chamber President Angela Powers and Director Florence Giannattasio.
