The New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School Board held an input session for the public to give the board an idea of what they would like included in this year's budget. However, the auditorium at the New Hyde Park Road School was empty except for a very few parents who bothered to take the time to attend. FULL STORY

The Lady Gladiators continued their winning streak to 15-0 by defeating Garden City by a score of 51-33. Annie Verdino led all scorers with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Lisa Karcic (15 points) and Melissa Flaherty (5 points) were a dynamic duo on defense each getting five steals and offensively distributing the ball unselfishly to their open teammates. Claire Casaccio scored four points and did a great job on the defensive boards. Nicole Lippolis scored eight points and Marvasia Bolden (3 points) did a nice job off the bench. FULL STORY
