The NHP Allstars must have gotten a good night's sleep and woke up ready to play. Against the Commack Lighting our boys forged a 2-2 tie. Goals scored by John Leva on a beautiful feed by Dan Lorandini and Nick Perrone also assisted by Dan. In game 2, the West Islip Lions were no match for the Allstars. Kevin Towey got both goals in a 2-0 win. Outstanding goal tending by Joe Carbone. Game 3 was a classic against the eventual second place Wantagh Freedom. In a back and forth game the Allstars secured a 3-3 tie. Goals in this game by Steven Rieckert, Dan Lorandini and Nick Perrone. Super goal tending by Troy Driscoll. Alex Montoni, John Leva and Mark Roantree kept peppering the Wantagh goaltender from their striker positions. Kevin Towey and Joe Carbone tracked down every loose ball and cleared our defensive zone.
