Following tradition, this year the New Hyde Park Memorial Key Club, under the direction of Vincent Scott, is helping the town's senior citizens get through the winter. Students in the club have designated areas to which they will be assigned to shovel when contacted by seniors. Memorial students Lindsay Martin and Phil Caminiti have organized this system that will be effective when the first snow falls. In order to simplify matters as to who is delegated to shovel which houses, the town has been divided into five areas. If you live in a certain area and are a senior citizen in need of the club's assistance in shoveling, you would call one of the block captains for your designated area. If there are any problems, feel free to call Lindsay Martin at 437-1072 or Phil Caminiti at 358-5132. It is imperative that you use the current numbers delegated to your area and not ones from past years!
