Michael Ryan, of New Hyde Park, is set to fight for his world (kickboxing) title on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. at The Vanderbilt, 1600 Round Swamp Road, 300 feet south of the Long Island Expressway.

Ryan will be going for the world cruiser weight title when he fights international champion Kadir Kadrl.

Ryan is the North American champion and is 25-2-1 and is in serious training for the title shot. He's held many subtitles, but never a world title. Andrew Eillison of World Class Boxing said, "Ryan is one of the nicest men out of the ring, yet one of the toughest inside."
