Michael Lynch, his wife Denise and their sons Michael, 3 years old and Jack Ryan, 6 months old.

The family of New York City Firefighter Michael Lynch, Ladder No. 4 want to thank the community of New Hyde Park for conducting the Candlelight Vigil at Memorial Park last Friday evening. Michael a resident of New Hyde Park is one of the missing firemen from the World Trade disaster. He lived, with his wife Denise and two sons, near Memorial Park and often played there with his boys.

Many members of Michael's family live in New Hyde Park and the Candlelight Vigil was one of many kindness and signs of support expressed to the family since the Sept. 11 tragedy. The Lynch family is sure that all of the other families of victims and rescue workers affected by the tragedy feel the same way.
