The Cross Island YMCA is pleased to offer Adult Soccer League Tournament on Saturday evenings between 4 and 8 p.m. on the YMCA backyard field. Ten player teams, 7 on the field including the goalie. Unlimited substitution. Two 15 minute halves. One 8 minute over-time sudden death tie breaker.

First and second place trophies; third and fourth place medals and MVP award. Fees: $25 per player or $250 per team.

Summer hoops 2001 - Adults (18+) Basketball Tournament. Games played on Saturdays between 4 and 8 pm beginning July 28th at either Tenny Park (261 Street and 78th Avenue) or Utopia Park (178th Street and 73rd Avenue). First and Second place trophies and MVP award. $500 per team, limited to eight teams. Contact the Cross Island YMCA at 718-479-0505. Girls and Boys ages 14 to 17 years, 2 divisions. Games played on Sundays between 3 and 6 pm at the Cross Island YMCA. Four first and 4 second place trophies plus MVP award. $30 per player includes referee fees. Flag Football for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 years, The program which runs on Fridays from 5-9 pm is open to players of all skill levels. It will include clinics, practices, and games. Program fees are $35 for YMCA members and $40 for program members. Registration is required and space is limited.

The Cross Island YMCA is pleased to introduce league and recreational Volleyball for adults 17 and over. On Tuesday nights from 8-10:15 pm open recreational games will be played. Admission is free to YMCA members and $10 for non-members.

Thursday night is leagues night from 8-10:15 pm. League fees are $300 for a team of 9 players or $35 for individuals.
