Nuzzi Fuel Twins 3

Phillies broke the winning streak of the Twins in a very exciting game. Frank Pate started for the Phillies, pitching three scoreless innings. Helping him out in the field with some good defensive plays were J.D. Delnevo, Dylan Brolly, Toni Citrinti and Thomas Mauro. Joe Morana relieved Frank for two innings and was able to keep the twins in check. Some outstanding catching for the Phillies by Chris Sanchez who gunned down a runner attempting to steel third and James Regan making a few smart plays on balls hit in front of the plate. Offensively, Lou Zaremba and Gurshaan Bains drew tough walks to start a five run inning capped off with a bases loaded double by Kevin Seger. Kyle Brennan came in to pitch the last and was able to close out the game. Great game from both teams.

Lower Farms - July 9

Green Point Savings Dodgers vs.

K of C #2852 Giants

The Dodgers played their first game of the summer season and all the players did great. Great catching by Daniel Chiofolo and Christopher Rocco. Terrific hits by Daniel Calagieri, Joey Citriniti, Robert Dimonte, Christopher Rivera, Jared Root, and Mark Thomas. Good fielding by Steven Ambrosio, Steven Curran, Anthony Pesiri, Troy Driscoll. Both teams had fun and played well. Hurray!

Green Point Savings Dodgers

Amazing team spirit was displayed by the Dodgers. The team came out hitting well with terrific hits by Daniel Calagieri, Steven Curran, Joey Citriniti, Christopher Rocco and Mark Thomas. A dazzling grand slam home run by Steven Ambrosio! Great defensive plays by Anthony Pesiri at short stop. Other amazing fielding by Daniel Chiofolo, Robert Dimonte, Troy Driscoll, and Christopher Rivera. Terrific job behind the plate by Jared Root and Michael Glaser. Great game guys!
