    Herricks Superintendent Dr. Jack Bierwith addressed the concerns of a parent regarding graduation at the last school board meeting. Apparently a list has been released consisting of 81 seniors who are, at this point and time, identified as not eligible to graduate. FULL STORY

    The Herricks Boy Scout Troop No. 201 held an impressive ceremony last Friday at the Albertson VFW, as four of its young men attained the Eagle Scout, the most prestigious rank in scouting. FULL STORY

    The GreenPoint Savings Bank Dodgers had a terrific comeback in the sixth inning. RBI's by Max Nero, Joey D'Amico, Kevin Padilla, Anthony Pesiri, and John Anthony DiMaria. Great fielding by Stevie Curran, Steven Ambrosio and Christopher Rocco. Jared Root helped the team out with his terrific defensive plays in the pitcher's position. Great game!
