The New Hyde Park Merillon Athletic Association will begin its 50th year with its Annual Parade to be held on May 5 to terminate at the Merillon Athletic Field on Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park.

All players, in full uniform are to report to the parade line-up at 10 a.m. at the Manor Oaks parking lot at Maple Drive and Hillside Avenue at the blacktop area behind the school. The parade is set to step off at 10:30 a.m.

The parade route will travel west on Hillside Avenue and then continue north on New Hyde Park Road to Marcus Avenue and over to Merillon Field for the opening ceremonies.

Immediately following the festivities there will be hot dogs and refreshments for the children.
