Angelo Ferrara to Run for Supervisor of North Hempstead
Republican North Hempstead Town Councilman Angelo Ferrara, of New Hyde Park, announced last Saturday that he will be a candidate for the office of supervisor of North Hempstead in November. Councilman Ferrara made his announcement on the steps of Town Hall, flanked by his wife Patricia and granddaughter Victoria and fellow Republicans, including New York State Senator Michael Balboni, Assemblywomen Maureen O'Connell, Donna Ferrara (no relation), Councilman James O'Connor, North Hempstead Town Republican Leader Michael Axelrod and former North Hempstead Town Clerk John Davanzo.

Edward Kennedy to Run for Herricks School Board Trustee
Edward Kennedy, a Herricks resident for the last 19 years has announced that he will run for board trustee in the upcoming Herricks School Board election to be held at the Herricks Community Center, 999 Herricks Road on May 15 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
