New Hyde Park Concerned Citizens Names Village Slate
Members of the New Hyde Park Concerned Citizens Party have announced its slate of candidates running for the New Hyde Park Village Board in the March 20 election at Marcus Christ Hall, adjacent to village hall, on the corner of Jericho Turnpike and New Hyde Park Road from noon to 9 p.m.

Herricks Goes Round Again on Policy for School Publications
The policy on student publications was once again the hot button item at the last Herricks School Board meeting. Interim Superintendent Dr. Ronald Barnes, after conferring with the school attorney, issued a revised policy, but the students and some of the board members were still not satisfied with the verbiage in relationship to "freedom of speech."
