DEC Holds Public Information Meeting on Lockheed Cleanup
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) held a formal Remedial Investigation (RI) presentation to provide community members with an opportunity to learn about the OU-2 (off-site) RI for the former Unisys site to be remediated by Lockheed Martin and its team.

April 3 Set for New Hyde Park School Bond Vote
In a meeting room that was practically empty the New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School Board voted unanimously to pass a resolution to place a $21,404,964 bond on the ballot for April 3 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. at the Manor Oaks School. Trustees Suzanne Wenz and Patricia Rudd were not present for the vote due to prior commitments.

New Hyde Park Wildcats Roundup
The New Hyde Park Wildcats board of directors would like to wish the players, families and coaches a healthy and happy New Year. The spring 2001 season is right around the corner and this season should be an exciting season for all. Just a reminder to all coaches: the intramural meeting will be held on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus and the travel meeting will be Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus.
